I did this as well when I worked on the greens crew at the local golf course during the summer months after I started my teaching career. I don't know how many @#$%&* bumps I hit driving around in the dark on the little cart we had to drive from one sprinkler to another. Luckily, another buddy of mine worked in the pro shop....he would loan me his key, so I had access to the pro shop for snack food, drinks, etc. Made the job halfway pleasant to handle.....I was always glad when it was over for the night though...!!!
