Par4QC

Likely cheaper as not forged.....it looks from the USGA photo that the Kirkland will at least be in part forged....

These rams look nice though and also available in black

Par4QC Our head pro wants to buy those. He has a picture of the black finish irons. And they redesigned the Zebra putter! Looks great, he wants one of those as well.

Typhoon Only thing, and something you and I hate, hollow body with no filler/2 pc. heads.
I'm full up, and out of the buying market, otherwise, I might give these a whirl. Just to see.

Subsonic You need a project. DO it dirty ho!

I can actually hear you in my head. How'd you get in there?

        😳

Par4QC Check out the Shafts in those Rams: SHAFTS - Quality shaft offerings complete the set. In steel, enjoy KBS Tour 90 shafts, and in graphite, it's UST Recoil

Subsonic I have a set of brand new set of Recoil Darts, and maybe a set of the KBS somewhere. imo, the Darts are a better shaft than the other model, but that is just my 'feel'; have used both/have both.

BTW...there is no poon inserted through that hole. I believe it to be player provided.

Par4QC Recoil Darts are nice. This year I’ll see how the heavy ctaper 125 gram shafts work out and decide if I want to reshaft with Darts or rapid tapers. I have my eye on a set of 2014 TM MC’s with KBS Tour shafts that are +1/2”… I’d pull those and throw in a set of graphite. Just don’t know if I want to go back in time.

Typhoon I have a new set of irons with the new KBS Tour Lite 100, which is their S flex now. Only played a couple clubs a few holes, but damn are they clunky. Not sure if it's these shafts or the heads, but fixin to find out in the Spring. It does almost feel like it's the shafts though, and if so, I can change them to the Recoils.

Yeah, I don’t think we even carry the KBS lite 100 or 90. Just not a good shaft for some reason. KBS has more weight toward the butt so with the lightweight already I’d guess that’s the clunky feeling. I’d take them out, your really not gaining anything with them over graphite.

This year I’m going to try to get more of the people over 50 into graphite. It’s just becoming a better choice with all the weight options. I’m just hoping TM expands the graphite line a little bit with some heavier options.

                    Typhoon

My personal opinion on KBS shafts is stay the hell away. Why can’t they make a shaft with a tip that holds up? I don’t want to have deal with warranty or no warranty shaft change issues.

The people that use/want to use, graphite do not want 'heavy'. The Recoils are around 75g, which should be perfect for most. Anything much heavier is going to have stiffer tips/less torque, and then you just as well be using steel as it's cheaper(mostly).

Bite your tongue. I know I'm in the extreme minority but Iike graphite irons over 100g....and not X flex lol
