Steve what were you drinking when you posted this? I have seen prophet spelled many ways but never quite like that. :-) Dynacraft has made some really nice irons over the years I still have a set of the 1030 blades from about 15 years ago.

How does a chip shot flex the face?

LBlack14 I don't think it does actually flex, it just feels and sounds different than a traditional face, and that equates to the hot/springy feel. Hard to explain, but if you've ever bump and run with a managing steel hybrid or fwy wood and got that spring rebound like feel, that's similar to the way it feels with the prophet cb's when chipping/pitching. Totally different animal as it relates to feel/sound....I think I notice it most on mishits.

It doesn't - like Chad said, the steel in the face is thin and crispy feeling. It's like chipping with a distance golf ball versus a soft core/cover ball. The ball jumps hotter on chips.

I like the specs, sole width is 17mm and blade length is 80mm. If the topline isn't too thick, I'm sold.

LBlack14 If you think about it, all they did was cover the cavity area, still has a cavity, weight down and back with the muscle look and the test machine doesn't hit chunked shots from the thin sole. I'd say it adds up. Real life? Probably not quite as easy.

They also are neutral, where the CB's have a draw bias.

jamez I didn't think they were draw biased....they are essentially a hicor variation of the acer react's and a cousin to those is the Synchron Vespa. All are fairly low offset, especially for a wide sole sgi design!

The CBs look like a players club at address. All the shovelness is cleverly hidden. Even in the bag they cry low to mid handicap. 😊

I couldn't wait. and since I was hooking my hybrids. I ordered the CB 3, 4 and 5 irons. They are basically 2, 3, and 4 iron lofts. I paired them with the TT Lite Xl shaft.

Tried them out today, I think I may just like these things.......more testing this weekend.

jamez nah, cuz one is just a 4i stamped with a 5 on it and weighted as such....I'm enjoying the stronger lofts, as they tend to spread out a bit towards the shorter irons and have allowed me to have one less iron in the bag. I have had to get creative at the long iron end and weight up some driving irons to fit in the progression.....I go 18, 22 (2 and 3 Wishon 590 dih), 6i @ 27 thru Gw @ 50 (Maltby STi)....so yeah, 2i, 3i and then 6i......sorry 4 and 5, but I don't need you anymore👋

Naw ... The way that you hit long irons. Not going to be a problem. Strong and weak I would say. I'd just drop the 6.

OK keep both 5's. Strong and weak. You're a better iron player than woods, although your improvements the last two years say differently. 🤷
