Spartan I've had fresh anchovies and they're different than the salty things one get on pizza.
I haven't had anchovies either way. If they are even close in taste to sardines then you can count me out. I love most fish, and there are not a lot of common foods I haven't tried. Anchovies have somehow eluded me.
