DonM I actually can't handle garlic,

My dad is the same way. Just can't eat it or really any spice at all. Salt was about the only thing my mom could use when cooking. When my wife cooks for them she has no idea what to do lol.

accufitgolf sounds fanFuckingTastic to me. Love both those ingredients. Anchovies on my za just as I turn the oven off to cool down. Cannot let them cook like the other ingredients or they degrade too much...and for the kicker instead of a dash of olive oil in the sauce, use the oil from the anchovies. Two ways baby!

OK I found out it's a dip. It's butter or cream based. You dip bread or cabbage or veggies into it.
That makes more sense.

When I first saw the words "bagna cauda" I thought it sounded like Italian jock itch and wondered why anyone would want to eat that but since I am not Italian I didn't have a clue. 😐

In Italy it is pronounced bahn-yah cah-oo-dah. The literal meaning is 'hot bath.' It is kept warm over a small flame like a fondue, so it is like your veggies are taking a hot bath right before you eat them.

I have never tried it, but I would be happy to give it a go.
