sdandrea1 NS Pro 850GH is 87g in R flex
NS Pro Zelos 7 is 73.5g in R2 flex

Shaft profile is different. Gotta take that into account first.

sdandrea1 When I had my iron fitting a few weeks ago, he tried several of the Zelos shafts on me. They all felt stiffer than I expected. I think he even tried the Zelos 6, and it was the closest to being decent for me.

Usually I have found ultralight steel shafts to be really soft tipped, and high launching.

scotts33 I used to use the FST Pro 125, I didn't really care for the 115 but didn't play with it much.

I tried the Zelos shaft a few years ago, and while it felt great it also went super high for me. This was in my “flipping” phase. It’s probably a great shaft for slower swing speeds, i.e. geezers. I may end up with those in my golden years…….

What's different about it? I used to like the KBS Tour that was about 130g. I would just tip it for my weak azz swing.

DonM Hmm interesting, soft tip, but stiff the rest of the way. I tend to like the stiff tip with softer butt for feel 😮
