  • Opinions needed: Best low compression golf ball

Thanks all to the replies. The reason I ask is because I have no idea about these and my Pops specifically wants a low compression ball for Christmas. Will it make a difference? Maybe, maybe not. I'd like to give him what he asked for. Thank you all.

    I notice a difference in feel, but not scores. Distance-wise, I hit 2-piece balls farther than 3 and 4 layer balls.

      Normally play Callaway SuperSoft but desided to try a box the Taylormade Speed Soft (same price) and the ball just seams to jump off the club..And at -50 competition it's close to the Super Soft..I'm torn between the two as my go to ball now.

      Tour Special 70 compression by Srixon, have been playing them for years.

      If you like that really soft feel off the driver face consider Snell Get Sum.

      I think the Wilson 50 is the best low compression ball out there.
