Typhoon They try to justify the high price by explaining the 18 layers of this and that
Well, if 'the machine' shows improvement over the previous way of manufacture, I guess they have the right to say the things they do. We 'brag' about breaking 90 when shooting 89, or 80 with a 79. It's only 1 stroke, but it backs up the 'bragging'. Much like the OEM equipment ads 'bragging'. Less backspin by 100, less offline by 2 yards, etc., 3 yards longer, gives them the right I guess. Not much, but our 1 stroke was not much either. And we go on for days about it sometimes.π
Then, we have to justify the purchase for ourselves, if we make one.
What I do see with Ping is when the new model hits the floor, the model it replaces drops in price immediately. They don't wait months like other OEMs do, trying to squeeze the last drop out of wallets. And that makes no sense if you got a new line out, get rid of the old. Why have both causing 'confusion'? They should look at the car industry....30 days after new models hit the showroom you don't see many of 'last year'. (used to be that way b.c.)
