sdandrea1 I had a set of the Acer Tour Blades, and sold them a couple weeks ago to 1 of Jake's buddies that play with us. He had that Adams square driver, so I took a Cobra SZ 440 for him to hit. It's his now. He hits that thing almost as far as Jake hits the TM M3 440 he plays sometimes.
I don't think it's the clubs. 😄 Quite surprising.
These young guys won't give up their clubs they have in the bag, they hit them so well/so far. The other fella that plays has a set of old MacGregor irons, complete with the steel ferrules. Hit's them a ton. And he was hitting that SZ a mile also. I've tried to put new irons in Jake's bag, but he won't have any part of it, for now. Maybe in 30 years they will change their minds. And they all have the cash to buy whatever they could right now.
