garyt1957 I’m with you, I find sub 70 hard in mini golf, forget about covering a whole course. I find the tee boxes play very little difference in my score, I suppose if I moved way up and changed my whole outlook on the course, it could shave some strokes. Ultimately you have to get the ball in the hole, not just to the green, your short game will dictate getting under 70.
In fairness, I’m one of the longer hitters on the forum, so I’m going off experience of moving from the tips to the whites, but I don’t see moving up another 20 yards saving me much, I shoot about the same no matter where I play from, it’s the difference of an iron or 2 in most cases and that’s not going to change my outcome enough to worry about. I play from the whites most of the time because it’s a hassle to play with my buddies who suck or my wife when there’s 50 yards between tees, so I just go to the easiest denominator and it doesn’t change much. I still have to execute 2 shots to get to the green and get it in the hole from there, that last part is the difference between scoring and not for most.
