E Bay have so many rules to protect, you just cannot work any deals w these sellers. I have been looking for a specific putter. I offered a new to seller a swing caddie 2 launch monitor free, if he would give me a price that he was looking for, so I could just buy it.
I had sent a couple of messages and sent a reply that was a bit stern of which he replied no thanks. He couldn't look at the big picture. I just do not understand

Back when eBay was a decent place to sell, if I had an auction going and there was a few watchers, possibly bids, I would usually turn down those "side-deal" offers. It was easier and safer to just let the auction play out.
