Every time I have a drink at the club someone tells me they bought PXG irons and driver. A few mention TM but only because they had a lot of pro shop credit.

I wish! Apparently PXG is winning the game this winter as we aren't playing here, but guys are buying their clubs.

Another semi surprising stat is that membership looks to be shrinking slightly for the first time in the last 5 years. Maybe the Covid fueled golf craze has levelled off? No membership deals were offered for 2023 though.

ode I don’t think the craze has leveled off. Last Saturday we had record low temps… -30,-40 wind chill but I still had every time a lot filled for clubfittings… 10 people in total. Sold equipment to 7 of them.

Sunday I worked at indoor golf, packed from 8 am ( and we officially open at 9 ) until close. Both simulators and 4 other hitting bays.

Today I drove by our range at the club amd there were people hitting… 38 degrees today and cloudy

I don't know if the ho in me will allow me to stick with my resolution to play one ball this year in an effort to improve my short game, but I'm going to try. Otherwise, I'm always open to giving a new ball a shot if it falls into a category I think I can afford. I like the look of the branding on that ball, whereas I hate it almost everywhere else I see it.

I'm in Mexico for vacation and we played a course yesterday. Rentals were 0211 (full bag driver through wedges). Unfortunately they only had R flex and I hit stiff, so it was a huge adjustment. When I finally came around to swinging slower on the irons, the distance from them was impressive. Driver sound was almost unbearable though.

I was actually most impressed by the 3 wood. Really easy to hit.
