garyt1957 So I took my 0211 driver out to the course again today with more mixed results. Distance was fine on good hits but I lost a lot on mishits. More than with my Wishon, I'd say. I hit 7 fairways where normally I'll hit 10 or more. A couple would have been OB on lots of courses, but not here. I almost never hit an OB with other clubs. Still not sure if it's more the shaft than the head. I started again with the 9* head in the 1* lower position which also decreases the lie angle by1* or 2. Perhaps the lie angle is causing the occasional rights? So late in the round I switched to the plus 1 loft setting and a standard lie. I didn't hit any right of 3 drives in this setting (and surprisingly hit the higher loft setting lower!) and hit the FW 2 of 3 times. The head still feels dead to me, but the distance is there so it's just likely the muted sound. I was leaning towards returning it in the 60 day window and getting my money back but might trade to a softer shaft with another Buzzer. Not really sold on this head honestly
AdamMH colej which, the Xcaliber? I do have a third adapter here. Just so happened I needed three different lengths at similar weight and those shafts were already pretty close to length. Edit: I thought it was in the "What did you build..." thread! Will be testing an Evo at 44" and a Black Tie 7m3 at 45" in the 0811.
garyt1957 colej to soften up the shaft? It feels kind of head heavy now. Just traded for an A flex so we'll see how that works
AdamMH I just measured my Tensei - it appears PXG did not tip it. Diameter is consistently 337 thou up to almost exactly the 3" mark from full insertion on the adapter.
colej garyt1957 Usually if you’re seeing inconsistency it’s a weight issue, not necessarily a flex thing.
AdamMH colej right, the Kinetixx shafts too. I think I'm at the point of too many shafts... like the point where I forgot what's stashed in the closet 😂
bigshank After being unimpressed with the gen 5 driver I bought a 0211 10.5 with tensei blue regular flex. I got a chance to play it yesterday. Very impressed. Feel and sound are not impressive I will say. Ball wants to go straight but distance is good. I haven’t got any real numbers but is definitely lower spinning and feels a tad head heavy at address. I can deal with this club.
backinit bigshank Agreed 100%. Way easier to hit straight than anything other driver I've owned. I can deal with that.
AdamMH Alright, alright, clearly Buzzers are hot for Super Concordes, Golfsmith, Integra, and other oddities so I'll go through my box of stuff tonight. Still have a lot of SMT heads too...
Par4QC AdamMH Buzzers are hot for Super Concordes, Golfsmith, Integra, and other oddities Break out the Dynacraft components and you will have people fainting like girls. 😁
Typhoon AdamMH Odd thing to be looking for but… do you have the Accuflex Vizion 50? That’s the 50” LD Vizion. I see them for a good price on Amazon
