Cheapest $3.47 at WallyWorld in S.C. PA. 🙄

$3.39 at Meijer. With mPerks, $2.39 at the pump.

Gas is about $5.20 here for the low test and the place I get diesel. Diesel is about $5.90 still...

Crossed the river yesterday and filled up. Had a .23 discount so price was only $3.16 vs. $3.78 around the corner from me. With a 14.5 fill up, was worth it for me. Probably last time I buy gas this year. 😲

Long while since anyone checked in here!

Today is the 1st day since 1949(?) iirc, the price went under $3 around the corner. $2.99.
I've been giving a grandson a ride to work across the bridge the past couple days and noticed prices are $2.68 over there.

Earlier, back in Nov., my son in central IL said it was only $2.48 in his area😲.

Gas war down the street put it at $3.11......mostly around $3.50 in the area.

Damn, diesel is still over 5 a gallon at $5.16...

Par4QC the BEST thing about here is the weather!! It allows me to play golf all year long.

$2.69 here. Up from $2.51 a couple of weeks ago.

      Par4QC central IL

      What’s the nearest bigger town?

When I was in the business, central Illinois was home to several big aggressive independent operators. Prices were always low around Bloomington, Springfield, Lincoln, Lasalle County, and Springfield.

I’d think by now that most of them have sold out to big national chains, who are not price cutters.

$2.99 @ Costco a couple of days ago - NW Phoenix area.

Bravopilot Yeah, we’ve gone up a nickel or so. Some places still at $2.99 but they are harder to find. Luckily I plan around when I drive by there. What I hate is when I fill the DDSRT with Super you don’t know the prices until you get to the pump. I think some of the cheap places make up for their losses with high Super prices. Super is $3.80 but I think I saw a Speedway near me for $3.65, I’ll have to pull in and check

$2.97 at BJs but that after a $.15 discount for members.

Prices around town went up more today..🤬. Not a good thing with an election looming.

We are over 3 bucks for the first time in months.

It's up around $3.19 here, but I just paid $2.91 yesterday at Costco......

This will probably be an unpopular post but.... i seldom if ever look at gas prices. I mean, they are what they are and i don't go out of my way to find cheaper gas (unless i am filling my motorhome LOL). i mean with the size of the tanks on cars these days twenty cents or a dollar who cars. i mean is it going to cost $75 or $80 to fill my tank. That $5 is meaningless. That being said i wish we would be back to the price of gas from a few years ago, but i am not changing any of my personal habits.

Birdsboro 94 gallons is a lot to fill. No idea how big the tank on you motor home is, but my beastie has a 94 gallon tank.

              1. Even then, i won't go too far out of my way to save. I mean if there is a sam's or costco in the area i will sometimes stop but usually i go for the truck stop gas stations just for the convenience.

Birdsboro I look at the prices, but like you, don't get too concerned. I don't go anywhere, so a full tank will last 4-6 weeks, longer during winter months. I always cross over to IA but wait til I'm almost on empty. With a 15 gal. fill-up I can usually save $7-8. Might be a 10 mi. round trip in a vehicle getting over 30 mpg, so worth it to me; gets me 'out of the house'. I pick up other things there also that are cheaper than IL, so my savings are even larger than just with the gas price.

Birdsboro i seldom if ever look at gas prices

I did today. Damn. Up to $3.79 and rising weekly!!

It's been around $3.09 here for a while now but yesterday (after I filled up here at home) I drove to Marshall, MN
where it's always higher priced than here and the price there was $2.61.... sucks! 🤮

Typhoon Prices around town went up more today..🤬. Not a good thing with an election looming.

Right? Because all of the geniuses in the world lay the price of gas at the POTUS' feet. Brilliant! Thank corporate America for price gauging. Always hilarious to listen to people grouse about this when big travel holidays-times of the year, like the 4th of July are close and magically the price goes up!

                Yeah, keeps climbing. $3.07-$3.25

Went from $3.45 to $3.95 here in about a week

professor Right? Because all of the geniuses in the world lay the price of gas at the POTUS

Yup… that’s what happened when we had $1.85 gas. POTUS was a God, and that’s what is remembered.
