Traded my G30lst...
LMAO at the one leaning against the grill.
Bankshot LMAO at the one leaning against the grill.
How funny was that ?
Like someone in the grade school tried to package the driver, light bulb didn't go on to cut another box to fit over the first one. Oh wait, that box is not wide enough to fit a bubble wrapped driver in it.
Most of the local golf shop will throw away the packaging boxes each week, just ask for one,
On the frozen tundra it'll roll forever...........................................................................................................................
Ok, hit the M1 last nite. So far, just as much "wow" as I expected. This was the original head/shaft combo that opened my eyes a while back.
The big thing was with the Ping on the GC2, I took the 10 best out of 20 because there were a lot of dogs. With the M1, after 5 warm up hits I hit 10 and none were " throwaways". So finding the middle of the face was easier.
I'll do 10 shot averages, m1 first followed by g30 lst:
Clubhead speed 109..107
Ball speed 160..156
LA 13.2..12.3
Spin 1853...1730
Peak height 31 yards...26 yards
Angle of Decent 34 degrees...30 degrees
Carry 280...271
Total distance 311..302
The m1 had had 8/10 between 306 and 320. The other 2 were 292 and 295. Like I said, that was all 10 no throwaways.
Ping had 8/10 between 300 and 310. The other 3 were 289, 296 and 298. Also, those were the 10 best out of 20 from a month or so ago.
Never could play any Ping driver, their slice machines in my hands. Only bag either a Cally or a TMAG.
I can hit a driver 320...........well, maybe a driver followed by a gap wedge.
I think the heavier head combined with the low spin on the Ping wasn't helping me like I thought it would. Regular G30 might have been better.
Release yea , it'll over shoot the greens, criminal!
And disgusting.
