This past weekend I had the smoker running with chicken on one side and venison stew beef in a foil pan on the other side. After a couple of days in the refrigerator we put meat from the weekend in the freezer. I have been taking chunks of venison out of the freezer, dicing it, using a little as a food topper for the dogs and heating the rest in a frying pan with a few tablespoons of BBQ sauce for a low fat steak and cheese sandwich.
