Had lobster for the first time. Local Giant Eagle had 2 small tails for $12 shipped. Broiled for around 7 minutes to 145 degrees. Very good, will for sure do it again sometime. Cooking a 6 pound prime rib tomorrow. Just me and my wife of 50 years.

[deleted] Smoking an eye round roast right now.

Does this tenderize it any. I really like the flavor of round steak but my wife complains that it is too tough for her to chew. I see the big eye of rounds at the store and they really look good but I have never tried to cook one.

Rickochet Yes some. I find eye round more tender than other roasts. I sear it for a bit and then just smoke for about 6-8 hours. It ends up looking and tasting like premium medium rare deli meat.
