We got spoiled down here. The local coastal small towns thrive with casual privately-owned restaurants that ROCK (and reasonable $ too). Outback can be good......hope you get the right cooks!

They closed a few up here that we used to frequent. The one in Burlington was our Christmas Eve tradition with the kids until it closed. The one in Lowell by the old “Wang” towers is good. We went there a few weeks ago for the first time since before Covid.

It’s Heisman Trophy night. So that means Chinese takeout. Been doing this for the better part of 40 years. It started by accident when returning from a day of Christmas shopping in Boston.

We stopped on the way home at a Chinese restaurant in North Andover for some takeout. While waiting for our takeout in the bar having a drink we watched the Heisman Trophy ceremony on TV. The rest is history and a yearly tradition was born.

Look for USC quarterback Caleb Williams to take the Heisman trophy home tonight.
