Yes. Raw materials are through the roof, and this is on par with high end OEM heads, not your typical component putter stuff. We paid the big bucks to get this one right.

I think you're going to see some reviews soon from guys that have tested it and agree it's as advertised.

Interesting. The custom putter I built a few weeks ago is almost exactly like the Deadbolt to match my right arm lock putting. This... probably would have saved me a few bucks. LOL

Reverse armlock can fairly easily be built if you have a heavy head and it's bendable and you have a proper way to bend it. That counts out 99% of people that just want to buy what they need and what is made for it, this fits that bill.

For do it yourselfers, I HIGHLY recommend reverse armlocking, it's a game changer if you aren't comfortable with conventional armlock.

ValueGolf Mine's a 335 gram head, straight in center shafted. Custom designed and CNC cut. I was surprised by the lie angle on the putter you're offering, I set mine to be 75°.

Lie just doesn't change that much on an armlock. And 335 is very light (thats a standard putter head weight range). How long is your putter and who made it? Someone that has experience with armlock?

I designed and built it myself. It's at 37" now but honestly it's a little bit shorter than I'd like. Graphite iron shaft and 17" long grip. I either lock the edge of my elbow into the top of the grip or into my left hand fingers as I keep my hands split. I averaged 1.9 putts/hole this morning over 9 holes 😉

I was previously reverse arm locking with a 36" putter that was probably even lighter as it's was made of pot metal!

I had never even considered this as a method, but it would be interesting to try. The longer CB putters that I've used feel great but the results have not been good at all. I like a heavier head upwards to 400 g but with a regular length shaft and a grip about the size of SS 3.0. still not sure on the toe hang or offset .....but prefer to look at no offset, so a single bend if 90* bore.

What point are you trying to make here? I could tell you 12 reasons why this putter is selling for 59 bucks but I'm not going to waste my time. You built and sold clubs what, 30 years ago, and you now know what goes on in the marketplace or how things should be? I don't always agree with Tait, but he's right about one thing.......

This is why I deleted the original Deadbolt thread a while back, but of course I can't prevent others from talking about what they want to talk about, so here we are and it is what it is. I am well aware that GolfBuzz has posters that can work on their own clubs, Frankenstein their own stuff to make what they want, and find great deals on golf equipment. You all have always been in the minority that way and that's great and I respect it. This product obviously isn't for you.

I'll take my leave on this forum for my mental health.

Looks great! One thing I notice on our putting green next to the pro shop, nobody uses any arm lock putters. I even noticed that back when long putters on the SPGA were popular.

Maybe a nice affordable option like this one wil encourage more people to try it.
