I don't think this one was a choke. The Cowboys played a helluva game and staged a great comeback, they were simply up against the hottest QB in the universe right now.

Rodgers got D into such a hole early, Dallas had to stray from their usual "run and more run" approach. Pretty impressive for Prescott to lead them back to a tie.

Bodes well for Dallas to have Prescott and Elliott at rookie contracts for the next few seasons. Dallas can draft and spend on defense to get them up to speed.

As a Miss State grad I was proud of Prescott this year but not a cowboy fan. Would have been nice to see a rookie take it all but Rogers is on fire right now.

Could argue the 4 best qb's in the league are left.....

ode AND, the results of the games again tell us - football is a "team" game! Yes, not unusual that all the teams in the conference championships had great QB's but, that's not all that! I'll take New England in another Super Bowl victory. Damn them.

Atlanta will def give them a run for their $.

It finally caught up to GB....They have the worst secondary in the league...And they put our worst cover corner on the opposing teams best receiver two weeks in a row....Wtf.... Anyways nothing new with the defense, you can't compete when you have 0 pts at half....If they execute on offense they would have at least had a punchers chance...I know a lot of fans are sour with Dom, but seriously they would have needed, knives, bow and arrow, and guns to stop Atlanta with the chumps they have on d.

I think it'll be a good game, NE vs Atlanta. As much as I want to give NE an edge simply because they're NE and Brady, I would struggle to argue that they have a huge advantage beyond that.

I think we're getting ready to find out whether or not experience makes that much of a difference. It might... then again, maybe not. Atlanta has a lot of options on offense, and if they get off to a good start and can continue moving the ball - I think we'll enjoy one helluva game.

And I would be remiss to not congratulate Aaron Rodgers on a very impressive turnaround this season. He put this team on his back and damned near delivered a SB finale despite the injuries they dealt with all season long. Many gut-check points to him, the way he played the last half of this season was truly incredible.

PA-PLAYA I think New England does have an advantage over Atlanta. As I said, Patriots defense is better than Atlanta's and I still believe, despite all the rules that favor offense, that defense ultimately determines champions. Hell, which teams played better "D" today? Yeah, they both won.

I think when it's an impressive defense, as in recent years with Seattle, Denver, etc., then absolutely - those types of staunch defenses can help deliver rings. Maybe I'm wrong in my perception, granted... but in no way do I see New England's defense resembling anything close to that level of absolute physicality and coverage.

They will obviously be head-and-shoulders stronger than Green Bay, just out of respect to being healthier alone, but I still suspect it will ultimately come down to how well Ryan and his receivers handle the pressure of performing in the Super Bowl. If NE can't get pressure on Ryan, then I suspect they'll have their hands full.

To both Lefty9155 and rsvman: No doubt!
