I just some some pictures online for the new Ping i230 irons. Rather ugly IMO. They look like the Glide wedges in the cavity. They always have that angled...

The more I think about it - they are the perfect blank slate for stamping, laser etching, etc.
I'll have to try a demo when our Pro gets them in the fitting cart. 🏌

As long as they are solid metal and not hollow. I asked about stamping P790’s and they said no.

sdandrea1 they look good to me...basically took out a cavity badge and made the transition at the top of the cavity look better/cleaner. Ping ain't ever gonna win an award for how their irons look....I mean their most popular design ever is one of the ugliest irons off all time....but they work, and the i series has stood the test of time!

I wonder who there is in charge of the numbering system…. I200, i210, i230… hmmm what’s missing here🙄. And what was with the ie-1?…. Next iteration of that was the i200🙄. i59?… i525?

I just saw the new Cobra forged Tec irons on a commercial… THOSE look nice!

Typhoon boils down to not being able to have the 420..so the i220 gets left out as well!
