Lately my ball striking, and positive outlook have been good. Per usual when one part of the game comes around the other or others go to hell. I haven't really putted well all year and it's mainly set up is not the same time after time.
Pull this thread back up.....So, I pulled out an armlock that I built a few years back trying to alleviate the set up issues. Armlock almost forces one into the same set up because of major loft/ball position sameness and shoulders, knees, feet all aligned. I can see why PGA guys use it as it puts you in same positions time after time. The armlock puts your hands/wrists same position with forward press every time. Then, it's green reading with line and speed. Average putters like most of us hacks don't get the exact same set up time after time and then you'll see pulls and pushes a lot then it becomes a head game. Especially for hacks that don't practice much other than a dozen practice putts on a practice green before a round. Since, it's not a job for us I don't want to put in hours and hours.
I am using an old Armbar head from Diamond Tour, triple bend shaft 42" playing length with a JumboMax SIK grip and a pencil grip with trailing hand. I can see better possibilities after two rounds with better putting stats. Getting used to it.
Anyone else using armlock?
