The pro at Shadow Ridge GC here has personality I like and the clientele are Largely "mature " so he'll be aquatinted with issues related to infirmities of ageing hacks like me. He'll likely see right away what is amiss. Getting me to be able execute the cure may be more the difficulty
Funny thing is driver was one of favorite clubs for couple of years but lost that in last two. Maybe caused when I fell of ladder fractured sacrum during our move here from NC. I didn't feel any different though, other than tighten up badly after about 9 holes sometimes. I follow Arny's philosophy of "hit it hard, go find it, hit it hard again" worked for him, but I ain't Arny, just a wanna be

Young guy , a 4 handicap, I met on the range hit it a while when I was resting, He liked it so much I thought he was going to steal it. Hiting staight or high baby fades into the woods way over the last flag at 250 yds going into fantasy land for me. Hit mine better than his stiff shaft 9* Titlest driver . Ahh, it must be a grand feeling to be able to do that. Anyway I'm very pleased/happy with my first drver reshaft experiment now.

Still happy with 45" shaft Not playing but range sessions good

Decided to cut my Miyasaki C Kua ,Cleveland 270UL from 47 to 45" too . Much easier to control for me , not much different distance

Now, if I can just wade through some of my honey do list and get in a few rounds

Got out today shot 7 under my index, didn't lose any balls , only 3 putted once. Equaled my best ever, so pretty good feeling. Nice day too 70* broken clouds. Course was soggy wet, lots mud balls , no roll. I'm hard core , so played as they lay. SPLAT! Sr. Tees honestly are too short and easy, and got a nice barkie tree bounce on my drive on #6, but I'll take it this time . IF only I'd not tripled #8 and doubled #9 I'd been happy with my gross score too.

Next time at Walley world I'll pick up doz Zips if they have them. BTW I have used Nitro brand balls and found them to work for me pretty well and low. Buck too

Last year I bought a dozen orange Nitro balls just because they were cheap and the orange makes them easier to find in the leaves during the fall season. I'd hit Nitro balls in the past when finding one and they didn't feel terrible. What I found with these was an extremely hard feel, no distance and after a few holes the cover split, time after time. I ended up tossing the remainder of the dozen in the trash. Maybe some kid would find them. They didn't feel or perform like Nitro balls I had hit in the past. Not knocking you liking them but they didn't work for me at all.

I played several Warrior Golf courses in winter and bought their super soft balls & had really good luck with them for cooler weather play . This was before everyone came out with their super soft balls. Still have a couple not lost into never land. I like Top flight gamers too.
