pellmell Yea, I've seen that and that's why I asked the initial question. Let's say I'm 85mph, I believe I hit down, not sure. I fit into that -5* down category of a total of about 215 yards. I think I know I carry it more than 169 though and I certainly don't get 45 yards rollout. Who gets that, really? But my question is the spin shows 3122 at 5* down, which everyone agrees is too much. Would a lower spin driver get that 3122 down enough to add some yards with the same swing? At least for now, I'm done chasing swing fixes and going with what I have, I have no time to practice I just play. Yes, if I can buy a better game that's what I want to do.
I'm going to experiment today with some pure distance balls and compare to my urethane balls.
As for that chart they have people swinging 85-90 5* down getting 46 yards of roll? That seem excessive to me except in Texas or Vegas maybe. And I thought a downward attack with more spin reduces rollout?
