Another update.
When I was hitting hosels, I switched back to my big STi irons so I had more club face to use. Same build as the TS2, just different heads. I lost almost a club of distance vs the TS2's. The TS2's are stronger lofts by 1 to 2 degrees depending on the club number. Now I'm back with the TS2s, and the distance is back.

I picked up maybe 1/2 club when I went from the ke4 Tour+ to the ke4 max, even tho the max had much stronger lofts. I picked up >1/2 club when I went to the ts2, despite same/weaker lofts. And the ts2 had higher launch. Same shafts. The ts2 are just awesome

After giving the STi irons extended playing time and just yesterday switching back to the TS2, I have to say wow for the TS2. I appreciate the extra height and distance.

I will definitely try a TS3 at some point. I like the TS2, but the feel was a bit disappointing. It could use the foam from my P770 set.....not for speed, but for feel.

Yeah I tend to miss on the toe and I don't expect to hear angels sing then, but it's an obnoxious crack on anything but a pure strike.....which I get maybe 3X a round. I felt similarly about some Mizunos and Callaway irons. The Miura CB and P770 were noticeably sweeter than everything else.

Yes I know when I hit one off the toe, but it's not jarring. After I bought the P770 I did find that if you strike a shot towards the heel it feels like a good strike, but the distance loss is worse than a toe strike. I like the P770 a lot, but I do miss having just a nice forged cavity back iron like my previous Apex CF 16 Pros.

I love my TS2. I had probably my best ball striking last year. I had gravitated to the more forgiving models - Ke4 Tour and Max. I switched to these 5-GW and found a huge jump in accuracy, height, distance, and only a small drop in miss hits. I played the same Nippon 950GH in the 6-GW, and a recoil in the 5. Even at 24* I hit the 54 really well. So well I tried the 4, and it wasn't a success. So......., for the record, I still have the TS2 4 iron head I am trying to find a home for. CHEAP

some background, i'm a pretty good player, hncp ranges 2-5, and i hit my irons pretty well. I played my best with the old MO5's but thinking i could use more forgiveness I switched to the KE4 Tours/+ . The Tour+ was at the top end of my "clunky" tolerance in looks. But they were very long and had a great feel. I have zero bad things to say about them. that said, i could only hit medium height straight shots with them.
The TS2 are a tad longer and much sleeker looking. They launch higher for me (same shafts), and I find it easier to bend the ball left to right. They are a little less forgiving, but they do feel great overall. are they worth the extra $25/head? for me, yes. I've had my best iron play since the days of the MO5s with the TS2. But I think the Tour+ is a better head for someone who needs more forgiveness in a low offset head.

I’ve got a set of TS2s I’m going to be unloading.

Cosmetically altered (I think for the better) as shown below. (5-G). I’ll probably try and sell them as full clubs (unmarked Nippon shafts - 120 s at +1/4 length and jumbo Karma grips which equal a Lamkin/GP Midsize) first. Probably not a lot of Buzzers for that profile so I’ll likely start them on the Bay unless anyone here wants them (if so, PM me). If they don’t sell, I’ll pull the heads and list em here.
