colej I’d bet the faces are flat on the KE4 max. You might not get that on the dynacraft

I have a set of Prophet heads a few used 4i, 5i and new 6i and 7i all CB's plus 8i - GW MB's measured all of them I see no concave/convex problems. Could have been an issues way back the new ones are from 2022.

I never saw that, but on some Hireko stuff the grooves just never looked as good as Maltby or Wishon. Not sure the KE4 max is my cup of tea, but they look nice. The new Maltby stuff looks so much cleaner than the older designs.

Walterjn those irons are getting harder to find in decent shape. I think it’s been over 10 years since I got those for her. They were unicorns at the time, forged with awesome forgiveness. I wouldn’t mind picking up a set, but the reshaft cost is insane, so it makes it hard. I’d be so deep on the cost there, it’s really not worth it.

Played 18 today with the Eye 2s in the bag with MCS 75 (blue). I keep getting reminded what an incredible head design that is.

      KCee grooves

Commented on that years ago on how the grooves looked shallow. Noticable difference on them vs. GW.

sdandrea1 Will you be trying to bend them? I did read somewhere that they snapped on one guy doing it.
If they could be bent, I might try the upper end of numbers, for iron/hybrids. Soles look proper for just that experiment.

Par4QC That's what I was afraid of. I'd like to go at least 2 flat and at least 1/2" over.

For an extra $5 per head, they can either hand select or bend. Break out the rusty money. 😉

IMO, it would be difficult to get them to 2* flat. I really struggled to get them 1* flat. I don’t do a steady pressure either. I try to bounce on them to get them to bend.

sdandrea1 No, I'll play them std lie. My swing won't know.

Really curious to hear how you get along with the KE4 Max. I'd think they'd be spot on for you.
        Go hit them ! 😜

sdandrea1 Funny you mention that. As it's gotten super hot here, they are watering more, and I have shifted back to the STi's with their bigger soles vs the TS2's with the lower sharper leading edges. I was sticking the TS2 in the ground 2 or 3 times a round and hurting my elbow. The STi barely takes a divot.
