Combo flex typically means that a shaft can achieve 2 or more different flexes usually by different trimming. That's my take on it.

TY. yes i used to trim shafts. but if already installed in an ebay driver, theres no way to tell how they ntimmed.

If you can learn what the tip to graphics measurement is at baseline, you can deduct it, but it’s generally a PITA to get that.

To determine how much a shaft has been tip trimmed, compare an untrimmed shaft to the installed shaft.

Take a look at a combo flex shaft trim chart. It will show tip trimming for a shaft with two flexes. A R/S flex will be tipped trimmed usually 1" more for the stiffer flex which would be S flex in the R/S combo.
