At the end of 2020 my golfing came to a temporary halt. Over the past 20 years I had lost at least 60 yards carry off the tee, I was hitting 150 yards on a good day. My swing was nothing more than an arm/hand rear foot swing. UGLY.
Last year a hip replacement and a New Lease on Golfing. Today, at 74, I am alternating between tee boxes, senior and regular (5800 / 6300) with scores about the same mid to low 80s, tee ball carrying 185 on average to pushing 200 at times. Having a solid short game along with reasonable playing strategy has made for a respectable game.
The hip replacement also led to losing some weigh, still more to go, fitness improved, strength and flexibility.
Loving that hipβ¦.
