Are you able to do the zone profiles ....like Wishon does?
ode Are you able to do the zone profiles
Not with such a setup, it just measures the frequency of the whole shaft.

Luc_Van_Daele Are you like maybe....110 years old??
Slotted head screws.....really???
And, 1 thing I don't like seeing is someone using a shaft with a grip on it to get (trying to get) a proper frequency reading.
Rubber 'gives'. Maybe that's just me though.

sdandrea1 should be banned from the multi-verse.
So should $12-$15/euro offers!

I may have started the $12 shipped thing, but I won't be held responsible for it's continuance.
(Besides, I'm already on the list)
Very cool! I may see about retrofitting my setup with the laser tach
sdandrea1 Meh…..for good measure…

Par4QC Slotted head screws.....really???
They are actually slotted head bolts !
I' had to reprint this part since the dimentions for the toggle clamps given by the manufacturer were not spot on. I did put the bolts upside down when I reassembled.
I've used the tachometer to make a MOI meter as well. It is basicly a pendulum that can be clamped onto any shelf and the meter gives you the oscilations per minute (RPM) of that pendulum. In this case I found putting some reflective tape on the shaft improves stability and accuracy. As with the frequency meter small oscillations give a very stable readout, so the club being "caught" between the 2 suspention bars that hold the cradle in place is no problem.
The MOI can be calculated from the readout of the meter (in RPM), Swing Weight (SW in gram-inch) and total weight (m in gram) of the club :
MOI = 35.21 (SW + 14m) / RPM² (in kg-inch²)

Luc: May I ask your age?
Subsonic May I ask your age?
sure, 60
Luc_Van_Daele You may be appointed head of the Last Tee Technology Committee. We are currently working on a Blue Tooth Capable potty chair.

Subsonic Blue Tooth Capable potty chair.
Anything is better with Blue Tooth
Subsonic Last Tee Technology Committee.
The first thing you all need is a life alert bluetooth thingy. The next thing you all need is something to help you understand that $12.50 shipped is NOT a quality offer….FOR EVERYTHING!
After that, then the potty chair thingy comes into play!
LogicalOne $12.50 shipped is NOT a quality offer….FOR EVERYTHING!
So true, but when it does come to quality, you need to add that extra $.50 to get seller's attention sometimes.
At $12, they just do not think you are serious.

I beg to differ........
