Played the Wishon 719 driver in January in floridia. My fitter ( Tim mossel in n j ) set up a demo for me. It was set at neutral with 30 grams of weight in rear. The key with this driver is His Tom made it 175 grams weight this allows more weight ( like 30 grams). It’s without doubt one if his greatest designs better than the 919. Great height with my shots. Vs the 919 ( it has to be the 30 gram weights) More distance and really hot off the face at impact. I averaged about 15 yards more than 919. And most of all great control! In my opinion one of his greatest designs!

Not something I'd think Tom Wishon would actually design himself. 4 weights....that look like cheap tee-nuts?? C'mon man.

Par4QC comparing to their other designs , IMO it looks good. 919 and 519 just don't cut it as far as graphics go. This is a step up. And he's all about adjustability, this has it. You'll be able to go really light or really heavy with weights up to 30g. And it's about time they give the modern adapter a try.

I wonder if the adapter will be proprietary? I think the head looks good.

Will have to see reviews and how it sounds before deciding to try. Sound had become more important to me now that there are so many great heads.

So, let me ask you.... If he was, and nobody really cares one way or the other, my question is pretty easy.

For a company, named after a guy who gave the world the big fat "L" shaped thing inside the head and controlled from somewhere near the sole if I recall correctly. A full out effort to move the center of gravity around the clubhead so it "HELPED" as many golfers as possible....

How do you justify stopping that movement and now ADVERTISING the STORY of the weights and screws????

I guess answering my own question:

PING did the exact same thing with the Ping Zing irons... They stood up on a chair and told the world that the weight HIGH on the toe of the iron is why they played so bad.... Shitty shafts started twisting and bending and the very next year the PING Zing II irons debut. Not so shockingly, there was no more weight high on the toe... But once again, it came with a wonderful damn story behind it, And golfers paid up again. How did they, justify that one???

Good to hear. I really like the 519 driver so if this one is the adjustable version that's a bit more forgiving, it might be a really really good product.
