Looks like there will be a $15 'surcharge' on boxes over 30" starting April 3rd. 😳 WTH. Hello UPS and PirateShip.

I did try PirateShip with UPS and it worked well.....we'll have to see what comes to pass.

Eguller I'm going to take my 44.5" SMT driver to UPS I think instead of USPS to see how much to ship to Oregon.

Use a shipping app like pirateship.com or shipstation.com you’ll get a better rate than walking in.

Typhoon if you are paying full retail likely not. Box size is gonna matter ....I'd check the postage calculator on USPS site, UPS, etc. No reason to pay full retail, if you have PayPal, just use the shipping app on their site. If the box is more than 46 x 6 x 6 you are gonna get dinged.....might even be less than that....but do your homework, measure the box, weigh the contents and plug in the numbers!

Just sold 3 shafts on Ebay. One guy paid over $16.00 for 2 day delivery to Washington state. And another guy paid ~ $6.00 for 3 day delivery a little north of me in Leesburg Florida.

I wonder how this will affect Ebay if shipping by USPS becomes so expensive.

I was telling my brother-in-law that after we move, I'm only going to sell heads on EBay -- can't be bothered trying to source long boxes when I haven't been buying much stuff. But a $15 surcharge on a driver is for the birds.
