I meant other irons. If all of them are center impact then the fit is good iron to iron. At times I see golfers say x iron is a better design but it's really better impact rather than design.

scotts33 For me, the shaft is the secret sauce that makes it all work. When I found my shaft, I started hitting around the middle of the club face. I wish we had access to full EI profiles for all shafts. That would make it easy to find good candidates based on what already works. I’d like to try a match of the iRN shaft but with lower torque, or heavier, just to see if there is anything better for me. I know that other bend profiles don’t work as well.

Also, it’s counterbalanced. And so is my driver and fairway shaft. Man this stuff is a black box.

Well, it has been two years since I stupidly sold off my TS1 set. In those two years....STi2, Hogan PTX Pro/Icon, Golfsmith P2 🙂, New Level 902, PXG 0311P Gen 2, New Level MODB-1, and Eagle Rebirth ERG-V2 and ERG-V3.

I think it is time to go back. If anybody sees any good deals on TS1 or TS2 sets let me know.

They are really nice. Good feel and distance. Great looking clubs too. Mine had the TT Elevate 95 shaft, and was not a big fan of that one.

I had four iron sets at that time though, the PXG were the easiest to sell off.
