I really liked the Pro Wound 70R.
I had it in a SMT Babylon 9* and then I became decrepit and couldn't hit it anymore

Sandbagger Bob was a dealer for them.
I tried many of their shafts when I stayed with him in Kalamazoo back in 2005.
Decent line up IIRC.

Spuzz Prowound 70 was a great one. They were around $40 back then.

Rapport were Swing Science the majority and a few other purveyors marketed them but the really Rapport were sold by SS for those that can't remember. 🙃

Hmmm think about it SS filament wound and Rapport filament wound. Make sense?

scotts33 I do remember swing science/Rapport and I thought one or the other did a line for Dynacraft as well🤔....hopefully you remember or I'll have to go digging thru the old catalogs again! (Ot maybe Dynacraft carried rapport at one time....I specifically remember the Advent shaft)

toraider This is probably why you like SS Series 200 now, it's akin to your old Blue Velvet.

Blue Velvet has a much stiffer shaft profile than the Swing Science Series 200. Blue Velvet would be close to a Swing Science Series 400 now.

Yep Dynacraft and Hireko carried a few if I remember correctly. Graman should be thought of with these shafts.

Good quality for decent money. SK Fiber, Mercury, Rapport, Swing Science, Graman etal.

Oh yeah🤔....when scrolling thru the banner the one that has Victor Afable on it with the watch video text on it. You can click and see a short clip of him talking about the core blue (not worth watching IMO, saying what you'd expect him to say blah blah blah), but what was interesting is saying Rapport is a subsidiary of VA Composites🤔. Anyone have the skinny on them?

I remember them. I tried a driver shaft that was pretty good, wasn't the Prowound 70 but some other one. Wanted to try some of the heavier graphite iron shafts with the NI tip but never did. Wasn't it them with the tag line, "Filament Wound is Round?"

The general thinking some years back was that filament graphite shafts were more consistent then sheet wrapped shafts but they had limits on bending points. They did have a lower price point.
