Sneakylong Very few truly "make it". I could not imagine playing golf to pay my bills.
I have an associate that played Division 1 Golf in College. Could not make it on a mini tour. Very humbling for him.

Yeah, that’s my point. The guys that do make it are in rarified air. We had qualifiers for the Valspar at our course. Guys shot 63’s and 64’s.
But they would be also rans who missed the cut and nobody’s at the tournament at Innisbrook. The guys we see on TV every week are the cream of the crop.
Put it this way. There’s a bigger gap between scratch players and Tour level golfers than there are between scratch golfers and 10 cappers.
Sneakylong You are being generous. I think gaps are wider than you stated.
I read an article years ago regarding the math behind golf and t was staggering. Amazing anyone even plays.
Yeah, that’s the whole point. These guys are good. Real good. Lol

Yes they are, but there is much more to it than being able to golf your ball with the best.
I've been around and played with some who potentially had the game to play Tour Golf, but
they either didn't have the grit & determination, mental capacity, or cash to make it - but they could PLAY.
Would love to see Brooksy back on the real tour. Same goes for P. Reed, and Cam Smith.
Subsonic I'd do it but was too busy defending my nation and educating Navy "people" on how to be professionals.
Bravopilot I have golfed with you. Be thankful you chose to pursue a career in the Air Forece.
Subsonic Please re-read the second part of my post, then you shall understand why.
Bravopilot Navy people just don't have time for the fluff and buff.
Do guys get dropped from the LIV Tour? Or are they alternates? Do teams decide this?
Subsonic Was caught stealing rubber worms in the 3rd grade in good ole Biloxi, MS and my dad explained to me what they do to thieves there. Scared me some, but really the big factor was the Catholic priest and confession, never really found that part friendly in all my years attending Mass.
Tried to tune into the broadcast, but apparently the Memphis CW thought it was better to offer a local interest show. The first time CW ever listed something I’ve actually wanted to watch and they didn’t bring it.
johnnydoom DFW CW has it, but my feeble OTA antenna doesn’t pick it up. And it doesn’t seem to be on YouTube TV.
And apparently not live on YouTube this year, except maybe some bootleg channel. Oh well, it doesn’t seem worth worrying about.
Watched it for about 10 mins on CW, pretty much a snooze fest!
Not much excitement, Feherity try's too hard to be funny, and the announcers might as well
be calling a high school team match.....they sound a little bored too!
