Super League Predictions
Koepka was one of the story's on Full Swing, I got the feeling he's missing the competitive action
on the Tour a little bit.

rsvman2 Why? He's not even competitive on the LIV tour. He has been playing like crap.
If you watch the episode on Full Swing where Brooks Koepka is featured, he says he's playing like crap and was probably a big reason why he went to LIV. For the guaranteed money.
He says he can't compete with guys like Scotty Scheffler who can shoot 63's every week etc.. He always was a streaky golfer, but rose to the occasion for the Majors.
He actually says what golfers of all levels feel. And that is 'when you have it, you feel like you're never going to lose it. And when you lose it, you feel like you're never going to get it back again.'
I was never a Koepka fan, but he comes across as more likeable in the Netflix series. I don't doubt that he and others may have some buyers remorse.
Koepka has a beautiful house right on the water in Jupiter Fl.
Sneakylong I know a couple people that had PGA Tour cards. After hearing their stories that is not the kind of life for me.
rsvman2 He's not even competitive on the LIV tour
I think that is what bothers him most, he figured out pretty quickly that he
doesn't really have to be that competitive on the LIV tour to still make a good living.
Koepka seems to miss the build up/PGA tour competition leading up to playing in the majors,
where he tends to excel more than most.
I want to put this out there for struggling PGA Tour pros.
I will hire you first thing Monday morning, if you feel you can no longer cope with the rigors of your job and want to set foot in the real world.
I know of some myself who tried to make it on Tour. Many quit because it takes a lot of money. One guy I knew at my former club sponsored a couple guys at our club.
It really is like winning the lottery just to get out there and keep your card and make a living just to be a journeyman golfer.
One guy Full Swing features is Joel Dahman. Great story on losing his mother at 17. Many don’t appreciate how good these guys are. They’re the top of the top in the world. Joel was the best player in his state.
Full Swing does an excellent job showing behind the scenes of these guys. For the ones that do make it. It’s a wonderful life doing what they love.
Sneakylong Very few truly "make it". I could not imagine playing golf to pay my bills.
I have an associate that played Division 1 Golf in College. Could not make it on a mini tour. Very humbling for him.

Yeah, that’s my point. The guys that do make it are in rarified air. We had qualifiers for the Valspar at our course. Guys shot 63’s and 64’s.
But they would be also rans who missed the cut and nobody’s at the tournament at Innisbrook. The guys we see on TV every week are the cream of the crop.
Put it this way. There’s a bigger gap between scratch players and Tour level golfers than there are between scratch golfers and 10 cappers.
Sneakylong You are being generous. I think gaps are wider than you stated.
I read an article years ago regarding the math behind golf and t was staggering. Amazing anyone even plays.

Yeah, that’s the whole point. These guys are good. Real good. Lol
