Yep. High quality golf competition in an easy viewing production. I'm liking it as it grows on me. Westwood was trying to stay in it. He was visibly disappointed in his 18th hole gaff. I think those guys are trying to win, not just putting on an exhibition.

sdandrea1 who wouldn’t want to win a few extra million? I grind over $5 bets (which I can afford to lose as easily as their losing millions, lol). I doubt any of these guys got to their skill level without being driven/competitive.

The FUCKING drama that has ensued is unbelievable, really. It's a damn game, ferkrissakes. I hear more news about LIV vs PGA than the war in Ukraine.

Put on the golf channel today and there is big tongue Trip Isenhour flapping about the LIV tour again. Not sure I made it 6 seconds before I changed the channel.

They should rename it “the “Selective Golf Channel.”

NBC owns THC. So, they are not going to be middle of the road about LIV. They are going to help try to destroy it. Tripp and et al will only continue to talk the way they are/have been, and have no choice. Even if they think LIV is a fine thing personally. Puppets, with no balls.

Par4QC I’ve stopped watching the PGA tour on TV now as well as the Golf Channel. All their crying has turned me off from watching that tour. I’ll watch LIV tour.

You must not have gotten the GC memo, it's always referred to as the "Saudi backed LIV Tour". Please put "Saudi backed" before LIV at all times.

I'm just the opposite. I like the speaking out against LIV. I like players that use their platform and take a stand. I'll never watch LIV. The hypocrisy and entitlement by some of the LIV players turns me off. Let alone the 'Saudi' backers. lol

Plus, many of the big names that went to LIV I didn't like anyway (Reed, Koepka, DeChambeau, Johnson etc.). All the guys I like are on the PGA Tour.

There's plenty of golf to watch if you don't like the speaking out by PGA Tour players. You have the LPGA, PGA Tour Champions, DP World Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.

More than enough great 'real competition' golf to watch. 😉

Typhoon I don't think the announcers are allowed to say anything about LIV, during PGA Tour broadcasts.
A lot of homes do not have TGC, and the PGA/NBC knows this. You do not 'advertise' for a competitor on your own broadcast. It is not a news show, it is a golf tournament. They keep it separate. At least I've not seen mention of LIV during any tournament broadcasts on NBC. Nor TGC for that matter.

As for Rahm, at least he was polite about his opinion, and his love for Sergio.

Hopefully, when he shows up at a lesser PGA tournament, he doesn't get mad when somebody points out he's only there "because he has to be" (due to his contract and the PGA Rules changes)

Spuzz Rahm's complaint is the same old complaint about those making the numbers for next year should not block those trying to qual for next year. His buddy is at risk of not making the DP Tour exempt next year due to poor play this year. This complaint has been around for a long time.
