I'm not sure what this is really all about. Most of the players, complaining, have enough money, that if done properly, their grandkids would never have to work. And some of these guys are just in their 30's. Most also have sponsors, which they undoubtedly will lose, thus losing income. (see: Phil) And Phil, has been complaining for years, even moving to FL, in order to evade taxes. duh, $4M for 1st place, and he thinks he isn't going to get slammed? Even living in FL? Then again, if reports are true, he has very little left from all his years of play.
So, I might be thinking this is not about money; it is about not liking their 'bosses'. Quit.....if you do not like the job or management thereof. There is another employer that wants to 'hire' you. Just. Go. It is that easy. You do not have to be on TV, or in commercials. That's not what a 'job' is all about anyway. It's about making money! Go for it.
Maybe they will even let you wear shorts. Cargo shorts. To hold the money. Or guns, when you play out of the U.S.. 😲
