On a side note...The SFK TT80 is still the best FW Shaft for my flawed swing. Going to see if the Swing Science Series 200 can replicate the success I've had with the TT80s. 🤞

The blue and white PE was @dyno Approved for Senior Poon way back when.
He made a driver for my Pops using a ZT Maxima (another component name from way back)
I could not stand the total gayazz blue vibe from that driver, so I had him ship it direct to my Pops.

The very first 450 cc driver I made for myself was an Integra beta titanium head with an SK Fiber PE shaft I
built at the advice of Bernie Baymiller. I used that driver for several years (even after having to change out
the shaft from Regular to Senior, as I got older). Finally had to abandon it a few years ago when it developed
a rattle that I just couldn't stop. The head's still sitting on my workbench, but put the PE shaft into another head for a buddy!

Boy those TT shafts were counterbalanced, and how. Lately I've come to love counterbalanced shafts. Maybe I'd love the old TT80 iron shafts now.

The PE was suuuuuuuper soft.

scotts33 I still play an SK Fiber Pure Energy "R" @44"s on a Golfsmith Hi-COR Plus 400cc 11.5" head. One of the best head/shaft combo's I have ever played.

I built one of those for my dad and it really worked for him. I hit some bombs with it when my timing was good. I should probably steal it back since he's only playing mini golf these days lol.

scotts33 I had the exact same set up at one point. I played the PE as my driver shaft for 6-7 years in various clubs. The red was one of the best looking shafts ever. Wouldn't mind having one to try out with current club heads.
