CallMeAl Yes, but only with the OEM M-Fusion shaft. I've since put in a Ventus Blue, thus the need to change the weight.
brownmoose13 I had that driver and it was adjustable. It may be my computer but I cannot see the shaft on the picture you show. Here is a link to Mizuno website: https://mizunogolf.com/us/golf-clubs/st-series/st-x-driver/ Chuck
CallMeAl brownmoose13 Already talked to Mizuno USA. They said to use lead tape, that's what the tour players do.... BS!!!
brownmoose13 NOW you know why I should stay (and will) out of technical discussions. I better stay a glue and stick guy!!! Problem is I am running out of Elmers. Chuck
Rickochet CallMeAl See this? Wouldn't you think it's adjustable? It's Not!!! Epoxied in even though another driver model uses a heavier weight! If you can find a different weight try using a torch on the glued in weight and screw it out (butane mini torch is my fav). Make sure that your are using the right torx wrench.
CallMeAl I would need a hollow tipped torx bit. There is a pin in the middle of the screw. Even if I get it out, there's no replacement.
darpar CallMeAl I would need a hollow tipped torx bit You need a tamper proof Torx bit and some heat, might try HF
Tinker They could have easily produced that head with all the weighting done inside but golfers now want to see screws and indentations all over the place. Marketing gimmick
sdandrea1 Tinker but golfers now want to see screws and indentations all over the place. Not all of us. 😉
CallMeAl Follow-up.... I did get close to my desired swingweight by using a 12 gram lighter grip. Still doesn't change the fact that these weights should be interchangeable. Less headache than looking for and replacing grips! IMO!
Eguller CallMeAl Still doesn't change the fact that these weights should be interchangeable. Less headache than looking for and replacing grips! IMO! if you can remove the sole weight, there are any number of ways to increase the head weight through the port. 🤔
rsvman2 Difference between that and a Wilson driver is that the Mizuno is actually a really good piece of equipment.
CallMeAl Eguller I could use Rat Glue, Cotton Balls, etc,, but then you're limited if you want to reverse the process
Eguller CallMeAl Single strand of wool yarn, measure and weight it out. Easy to remove. It will effect the sound/feel.
