I have been using the strategy of ignoring the first line and just proceeding with my stock second word. But if I get 3 hits in the first one, it's hard to do. I read that the inventor of Wordle uses the strategy of eliminating as much of the alphabet as he can.
I even came up with a three word sequence, with two possible fourth words based on what happens the first three. So today I used the first three but not the fourth, and I didn't solve it until line 6. I think using two stock words to start is what I'll be doing.
