Typhoon So my pro has a Superstroke Pistol GT 2.0 with the removable backweight. I liked it with the weight better than without.
Thinking of my own putter…Instead of changing out the grip would running a coupe strips of high density lead tape down the sides of the grip and then cover it with athletic/hockey tape feel the same?
Couldn't you get the swing weight of his putter with the weight in and add whatever weight you need to get a similar swing weight / feel?
I just had two Superstroke Traxion Tour 3.0 grips put on my Scotty and Odyssey putters (no weights). I have two older Yes putters with the Superstroke 3.0 Slim that I always liked.
My Scotty was originally 34" which I had extended to 35". But I kept the two 15 gram weights in so it always had a heavier feel. I had a Flat Cat on it for several years.
