Even though technically my last day is October 18, I haven't really done much since July when we got e news and now that our office has been towed away the other week I only golf and go to the gym everyday. I did go visit a few customers on " off" golf days but I'm getting used to this " no work" crap.

I'm starting to get concerned that going back to work will be a shock.

All this happened today, woman I work with from another division says one of her guys might be leaving and she'd want me to move into his spot. Some traveling, by car, but tough to get in my golf days. Then a friend of mine was at a trade show and he hooked me up with calling a couple people he was talking to about my situation and they have openings. One looks good, the other looks like a " fly by night" product that'll be history in a year. While I was talking to the woman I work with I get a call from the guy that interviewed me also,with our current company. I didn't call him back yet, too chicken...he might be offering me a job, might want to visit a customer since he didn't make it last week ( but didn't seem like it was very important to him) or he's telling me there is another round of interviews. Normally if u don't get a job you get an email.

So, a lot today... Also thoughts about the golf job...Yesterday my wife goes into work, they are laying people off. Tells me she is safe for now. Seems like this happens every month. I told her tonite, " seems like every month they lay off a few people. What if I take this golf job with low pay and you get layer off? We're screwed...u make all the money AND have the benefits. All,well,have is my job paying shit."

So,it's funny, all I can think of is shit, am I going to have to go back to work soon. I'm hitting it so well and in a good gym routine too.:
