Well sort of!
Due to ongoing periods of A-fib and the fact that I stroked out about a year ago, my cardio guy
and I decided to try a fairly new ablation procedure called "Cryoablation".
Instead of using just the old method of RF heat to rewire (did that too) and ablate the bad parts of the ticker,
the new procedure actually freezes (-60°) the inside walls of the upper chamber (Atria) that is causing all the chaos in there.
It's a much safer and quicker form of ablation, but not done in too many hospitals yet...
We are lucky here in St.George Ut. area to have some of the best cardio docs around!👍👍

The procedure does take a while as I was knocked out around 8am and woke up in the RO around 2pm.
Had 1 catheter on each side of my groin for the probes and ablation 'tools',what seemed like a wide angle
camera down my throat,couple needles in my left arm/wrist, and a catheter in my ding dong.
Doc told my wife (a real trooper) everything went great, and I should be golfing again in about a week!🏌
I was able to leave the hospital that afternoon after having to lay perfectly flat for about 4hr's in the RO,
that was the worst part!
Feel totally different (in a good way) than I have in many years, no pain except when I had to take a piss due to
the roto rooter tube used for peeing while sleeping.
Energy is starting to slowly come back, doc says it should knock a couple strokes off my game (I need it too)!

It's pretty amazing how far modern medical technology has come, that they can actually operate on a beating heart
without having to open up the chest to do so...props to the great care I received at Dixie Regional and to
Dr.Orme and his staff for getting this old dog back up and running again....we plan on playing some golf together
in a few months!👌
