No idea our state adopted today as a federal holiday. We didn't know it was a holiday at all, never went to holiday rates for today. We have 370 people booked to go out. I prefer my regular Monday when we have around 170.

Well this past weekend was a treat. Throw Fathers Day into our mix of already clueless individuals and you can just imagine the outcome. Families that have never been on a course before going out at 1 pm, You tell them the 6 year old cant drive the cart and there is the 6 year old driving it by the proshop. The guy with one eye,,, literally one eye who drove his car to the first tee because he " can't walk".... yes drove past the gate, up the walkway and to the first tee with all the people there.

Now I'll get to our marquee group...
They call on the phone because they can't book as 5. Pro gets them 2 tee times so they would be 2 and then 3. So being so busy, another 2 books with the first tee time and a single books with their second tee time. This gives us 2 foursomes... perfect right?? No... not here with these shooters. Skanky looking guys in their 60's with maybe their 30 year old kids.
First group set to go out. All of the sudden we look and the twosome that joined the skanky twosome is gone... up in the fairway without the other 2. One of the girls in the shop goes out and asks what they are doing. She goes up and holds the twosome in the fairway and tells the guys on the tee AGAIN, they are to tee off because those guys are waiting for them... they are supposed to play together as a foursome. 2 guys walk to the tee. Next thing you know, there are 3 guys from that group, not 2, out about 50 yards and the twosome we told to wait are gone.
Her and I walk to the tee and look at the 3 guys there and say " what are you going????" We told you 90 times to have 2 join the other group and you play as 4... what is wrong. Noting, just blank stares and one guy says, oh..." I looked at them all and said I give up... shook my head and walked away. Now the single was with them... he doesnt know them.... this gets better.

A few hours go by and I see a threesome making the turn that should be a twosome. I go up and the 3rd guy is the single from that idiot group. I said to him... what happened. He said, ? I left them on the second hole" SO I backtrack to see where these knuckleheads are. They are on the 6th hole at the 2 hour mark playing as 5. I was soooo pissed, I said what are you doing, One guy says, we're not holding anybody up.... I looked behind them and it was insane... thank God they were doing 9. I wouldn't have let them continue anyway. Took them 3;30 to play the front 9 in carts. Our front 9 in short and flat...2 hours is too long. One guy had such a bad medical condition I don't know why he was even out there. They come in, we had run out of carts because we were waiting for theirs. After they finished it was like a damn broke with people coming through.
