Typhoon But from doing fittings I’d recommend no 3 wood.
Yeah the fairway wood is the tough one. I had a Cally XR16 3 wood I loved, but the face flattened. I put the shaft into a Mavrik 3 wood, but despite matching the specs it is NOT the same. Also had an XR16 3 hybrid I really liked that also ended up with a flat face and the Rogue X I replaced it doesn't have the same mojo either.
I have been using an TM Original One Mini driver at 14* instead of a 3w, but it's often too long for our doglegs. But I can hit it way straighter than the Mavrik 3w. Sometimes it's my driver as the low spin provides enough roll to match the Epic Max.
I may buy a Maltby KE4 TC 4 wood head. I have the 5w and it's great, but not quite long enough for the doglegs depending on the tee box and weather. I measure it at 19* and I'm thinking a 16* head may get me out there just far enough. I do like my 23* Rogue X hybrid and that may be good enough. I used to use a 4w and 4h, but the fitter put me into 3w, 3h XR16 clubs. He did the newer 3w and 3h too, but for some reason I couldn't make them work the same.
