Putting out a “feeler” SMT 455 12 degree

This was the Rockstar’s driver. Maybe that adds value..😁. Anyway, I’m updating his bag. He’ll get my G400max 10.5 degree. I got it years ago from someone for him because it’s 44.5”, 12 degree and a regular shaft.

It had lead tape on the rear skirt I peeled off, there are light scratches on the head as you can see. It’s well used and was like that when I got it.

If anyone is interested, I’ll sell it. I’m thinking $75 shipped conus. Shipping alone will cost me $25🙄. Is there any interest in a classic combo like that anymore?

Used mine a couple rounds ago. It was as good as anything I've hit this year, in every dept., looks/feel/distance/forgiveness. And that was on a less than ideal day for golf.

Oh man, I want this driver. Had one back in the day with a stiff flex VS339. What a great combo. I’ve heard the Assassin is good, too. And regular flex is more up my alley now.

My only hesitation (besides the price) is that I’m getting knee replacement surgery next month and will be out of action for 2-3 months.

Maybe I could ask Santa to get it for me 😁

THAT! Scares me. The pain after the nerve block wears off is pretty intense, I'm told. I've had a couple tell me if they'd have known it would be like that, they'd have passed. Best of luck on minimal pain and a speedy recovery, G!!

Thanks LB. Over 7+ years of increasing pain has been just too much. Had a total left hip replacement two years ago and the pain wasn’t too bad during recovery. All is great now. I can handle the pain if at the end of the rainbow I can walk without the intense bone on bone pain.

I hope your recovery goes smooth. The end result will definitely be worth it. Take it from me, you will hardly remember the recovery pain. You will ask yourself, “Why didn’t I do this sooner?”

LBlack14 My wife has had both done. Whoever you've been talking to about it, is full of shit. It's much like your hip deal, up walking an hour after surgery. Lots of therapy/icing, then good to go, in a short while.

If you knew my wife, Ms. Pansyass, you'd know I'm talking truth. She's ready to head to the morgue if she gets a hangnail. 🤣

btw, her ins. + Medicare took care of it all.

gllama I know you're right. I just didn't have this much pain when I had my right one done, that I can remember anyway. I know now how dumb it was, but this was 3 days post op for my right one, 03/'17.

Thanks Rex, that makes me feel better. The hip wasn't that big of a deal. I know the knee will be a bit longer recovery, but I can handle pain. Between my hip and knee, I 've been in pretty fucking serious pain for over 10 years. My wife thinks there is something wrong with me mentally for going so long without surgery. Maybe she's right...

gllama They'll send you home with one of those ice machines. The wife loved it, takes care of any pain without meds, and is basically another therapy with the compressions. If it wasn't for her hip, she'd be getting around really well, for an old lady. 😲

Both knees replaced in this bod. Pain was minimal post surgery and rehab was pretty quick. Walked out of the hospital on both. Do the PT faithfully and you'll be good to go. Hobbling around on a worn out joint is zero fun. Now my total shoulder replacement......that bitch hurt and PT was torture.

I'm 01821. So the box would be 46"x5"x5". I forgot to ask the post office woman but I just went to USPS online and it looks like around $27? maybe one of the experts can double check. I figured it to be 5 lbs too. Package is going from 01821 to 97760
