JeffTilley Nippon 1150 Tour shafts, regular flex & GP Tour Velvet +4 grips. These were built by a friend of mine who decided he liked his Mizuno’s better so we did some trading. I tried them a couple times and I didn’t care for the turf interaction, but they work fine on my Divotaction mat. BTW, I swapped the 6 & 7 irons between pics. The 6 iron is longer than the 7, just didn’t want any confusion, lol. Here’s a few pics…..
colej JeffTilley Nice setup you got there. Yeah I’m not sure what model Popeye likes best. He bounces back and forth.
propman JeffTilley Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately, I'll need to take a pass on them. I actually had those shafts in a set of mizzys. Looking for lighter shaft, preferably graphite. Getting old. They look great, good luck selling them.
JeffTilley colej Thanks, been working hard on it. It’s a hot mess right now, really need to organize and clean. Popeye is a good source on all things Maltby.
Nat propman I may have a buyer. My buddy wanted them but they sold out . I’ll send him your pics and let you know
propman DonM The sti2 are super forgiving. They also feel fantastic when I hit a rare one on the screws. My 1st year playing with graphite irons and I'm sold. Initially, thought they would not work out with my samurai like swing, but I (thankfully) was wrong. As I said before, the sti2 irons with the maltby pro series shaft (r flex) are a great combo for me. Also, very wallet friendly.
propman Got a couple of inquiries, still available. Any ptms out there with reg flex graphite shafts for trade considerations?
