Subsonic Close enough for my game.
That’s the key. And it’s good to see someone realistic about their game. Also if you played back then when there were no rangefinders or any markers at all other than maybe a 150, you learned distances. I was a caddy, I learned what it looked like.
I see guys at our course pull out the range finder on the first hole to see how far to the hazard and then put an awful swing on it, whiff twice, shank the next one, run off into the woods after it, come back out of the woods and top it. They have $1000 in gadgets and a .75 cent game. None of them know how far they hit clubs either. For most of them the “150” club is any of the 13 clubs in the bag other than putter.
