sdandrea1 wishbone Cool. I worked in Warrenton for 19 years, kids are still there Subsonic LIVES in Warrenton!
mikeintopeka Spartan - did your gas taxes increase? You always were much lower than us and I timed my fuel fill-ups on the western side of the Mighty Mo along I-70 during trips to KY.
Spartan mikeintopeka It did go up $0.025 per gallon this month. It's probably cheaper in the rural areas.
sdandrea1 DonM So far, it looks like I’m winning. I think @Walterjn is "winning". He's at $4.26! 😂
mikeintopeka Sam's Club dropped to $2.759 today. The reservation 40 miles north of me is pumping it out at $2.709.
Walterjn sdandrea1 I don't know, I think I'm losing... I figured that lowest price would win... Not the highest.
SVonhof sdandrea1 I think @Walterjn is "winning". He's at $4.26! $4.72 for regular at the Chevron down the street from me. Does that make me the winner? 😩
Bravopilot Walterjn You see, that is typical Cali thinking. You guys are "leading" the way, thus winning.😎 Plus, fairly nice weather in Dec.
Bravopilot SVonhof Yes, that is a serious gas price. In fairness to Walterjn , he uses diesel, which is usually cheaper than gas, which I have noticed. I travel to San Diego for work a great deal and am always amazed at the cost of gas.
Walterjn SVonhof you can have it... Heck, I'm still trying to figure out why the hell diesel is so much, as I understand it it's a byproduct of gasoline. It is now about $400.09 to fill the truck when it's completely empty...
Par4QC ......"and the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the United States stood at $3.25 on Friday - up from $1.72 in April." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/energy-crisis-gripping-world-potentially-120310123.html
Bravopilot Par4QC Still not high enough to change my driving style and frequency. I do not drive around looking for the lowest price either. Granted one car is a Prius and does well, even my heavy foot but my Highlander has a large tank and my style makes it low MPG worse.
Par4QC Bravopilot he uses diesel, which is usually cheaper than gas, which I have noticed. I haven't seen that for at least 40 years.
