Sounds like Sean got ahead of his skis discussing Bo’s broken ankle. lol

“There was nothing that was predisposed,” Nix said. “Nothing that was there originally. That might have gotten confused.”

Nix also addressed Payton’s public mention of his surgical history, calling him out for doing so.“

That was a known before the draft! If Sean didn't know about them, 'due diligence' is something he should study up on.
He got lucky Bo made it almost 2 complete seasons.

I looked this up and not sure that was the case…. Basketball was my sport and I sprained and broke my ankle playing basketball and softball. Doesn’t mean I was predisposed to ankle injuries.

Sean Payton obviously screwed up here. This was an unforced error. I don’t think he thought he was throwing Bo under the bus. But Bo was pissed and I don’t blame him. I’m sure they’ll work it out.

Sneakylong Doesn’t mean I was predisposed to ankle injuries.

My reply was about any injuries Bo had in the past, from what I had read prior to his draft and after this injury. But now, the source of my info has changed....was edited just today in fact. No mention of the 2 injuries I had read about, only to mention he was injured in the 10th game of his 2021 Auburn season and was done for the season(13 games). It also previously stated he had an injury in HS.
Thus I have no proof of what I posted, but I know what I had seen/read. And I'm good with that.

Good thing humans are not 'animals' where a bloodline weakness/predisposition to injury can be found, or known.🤔😉

That wording didn’t necessarily sound like coach was calling out an old surgery. It certainly could be, but also sounds like Bo may have been playing for a while in pain with an injury and didn’t let him know.

Or maybe coach is just a butthead trying to cover for whatever culpability he may have for the injury (I wasn’t watching and so don’t know if there’s any reason to blame anyone at all).

Patriots having a “send off” at the stadium today. People have been outside in zero degree temps since 4 am waiting for the gates to open.

I just had to change the channel because all it is are newscasters interviewing girls screaming Drake Maye or drunk 20-30 year old with no shirt. They can’t even speak, why would you go anywhere near them for an interview

Tonight (6:30) is the NHL outside game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa between the Bruins and Lightning. We were supposed to go, but it was 31 degrees this morning.🥶

Two brothers in law and a nephew went. They left at 10:00 this morning with a lot of stuff going on all day there.

We’ll watch it on TV with the heat on here at home.

Several years ago my wife’s boss gave us his season tickets to the first game of the year in early September here in Tampa (Bucs vs. Panthers).

Good seats, but it was so hot with the sun beating down on us we ended up going inside to the VIP area, drank beer and watched it on TV. lol

We did go see the Patriots play the Bucs when Brady was still with the Pats. But it was a night game in October and comfortable.

Sneakylong friend of mine has seasons tix, I’d go once in a while with him but it was always cold. I was surrounded/insulated by fat people. If someone got up it was like they left a door open.

One year I watched from the sidelines… got in due to a friend of mine who was an NFL uniform inspector for the Pats. That was fun.

Is it just me or is this the least publicized run-up to a Super Bowl?

professor It seems pretty sedate compared to the past. Not really sure though. I almost think having the media split up into separate streaming services owned by mega corps. has kind of removed the opportunity for competing interests to cash in on it. But it could be that parity isn't quite as interesting for the general population as watching two giants clash or David vs. Goliath. I don't know, but I don't think it's just you.

Maybe there's a lot of hype in the generations that are looking forward to the Bad Bunny halftime show.

We watched Super Bowl Live on the NFL channel last night and when they had the coaches and players interviews it was amateurish. Terrible. The sound and lighting was not good.

Regardless there’s plenty of coverage if you look for it.

Hahaha, I never watch the halftime show. I never attend anyone's Super Bowl party - ever. I just like to watch the final game of another NFL season. LOL

Not surprised. Although with Kraft he is well liked. The voting process is fucked up. It’s embarrassing.

His accomplishments as owner (1994) of the Patriots. 11 Super Bowl appearances / 6 Super Bowl wins / 20 Divisional titles / 65% win percentage. Best in the NFL.
